It all began with making vlogs for fun. My love for connecting music with videography led me to make other documentaries that goes beyond myself to explore the world around me. What I love the most about the video making process is incorporating music and the beat to determine the way the videography will move and change.

Enjoy the personal documentaries I have made so far. Feel free to ask me what I am making next!

PASSING THROUGH

Communities are all around us but how often do we get the chance to really observe the different relationships within? Passing Through is a documentary that highlights a unique group of friends in Pittsburgh who not only support each other in their walk of life but enjoy doing simple things together like playing basketball early Friday morning at 7AM. Come with me as I capture my observations of this group just simply passing by.

A Dialogue: 2001 – Present

What does it mean to connect snippets of your life through the memory of others? A Dialogue: 2001–Present is a personal video essay that attempts to tell a cohesive story by piecing multiple phone calls with people at various points in my life. The end result is a personal narrative that expresses the different things I had to wrestle with growing up, such as identity and faith.

It’s Pretty Sweet

Millie’s Homemade Ice-Cream is a beloved, local Pittsburgh business that prides itself in serving fresh and creamy ice-cream everyday. I had the opportunity to step behind the scenes and dive deeper into the history and getting to know the faces of this shop that made it possible for a small family passion to grow into multi-chain Pittsburgh business. Through three weeks of intensive documenting and learning, I have witnessed the hard-work that goes into turning a life-long dream into a reality– and I’d have to say, it was pretty sweet.
